L’Oréal India has appointed Gaurav Anand as its Chief Marketing and Digital Officer (CDMO). This newly created role combines the company’s marketing and digital efforts to focus on the consumer journey. Anand will become a member of the L’Oréal India Management Committee.

He will lead and integrate the consumer insight, data, strategy, media and consumer consulting functions of L’Oréal’s leading digital brands. 

Commenting on Anand’s appointment, Amit Jain, Managing Director of L’Oréal India, said: “Indian consumers are rapidly turning to Omni-channels.

As a beauty technology company, L’Oréal India is implementing new technologies to improve our products and customer experience in response to this. A constantly changing pattern to create a new O + O world.

This new role is our commitment to strengthen the role of digital at the center of our business strategy. With a proven track record in accelerating disruptive business growth, Gaurav is in the best position to expand our digital marketing efforts to take advantage of the company’s new capabilities.

Gaurav Anand Past Experience

“Anand joined L’Oreal from PepsiCo Europe, where he led the Central European snack business and digitalization, Sales strategy in Europe.

Before that, he led the digital marketing of the P&G SK-II global brand (premium skincare products).

In the past, he also led Facebook Business development functions for fast-moving consumer goods, consumer goods, and technology companies in different regions.
