Lt Governor Anil Baijal appointed as UT’s regular real estate regulator
Chandigarh:Following a niche of two years, Delhi Lt Governor Anil Baijal has appointed as UT’s regular real estate regulator. The choice was taken after the UT Administration asked the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation to designate a solitary Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) for Chandigarh and Delhi.
Resigned IAS officer Vijay S Madan has been delegated as the real estate regulator for Delhi and Chandigarh.
Up to this point, the UT Secretary (Housing) was acting as a time controller. Gyan Prakash Srivastava and Ramesh Chandra have been designated individuals from the administrative specialist.
Madan, a previous Director-General of the UIDAI, has been delegated for a time of five years.
UT also sent recommendations
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation had sent the recommendations of clubbing all the regulators of the Delhi Government. Chandigarh was one of the main UT’s in the nation to set up a transitory controller on October 31, 2016.
