Medical examination of shortlisted candidates rescheduled
Chandigarh:The Chandigarh police have rescheduled the scrutiny of records and medical examination of the shortlisted candidates for the 520 posts of constable.
The system, which was once purported to begin on March 5, was once postponed for specific factors. It’ll now take position from March 11 to 29. Separate batches of candidates can be shaped for the motive.
Approx 2.83 lakh candidates had utilized on-line for these posts. Thereafter, a physical efficiency and measurement test (PE&MT) used to be held from April to July in 2017. Almost 36,226 candidates had been shortlisted for a written exam on the basis of their efficiency in the PE&MT. Meanwhile, 28,227 shortlisted candidates had regarded for a computer based exam.
The police department had declared the results of the exam on December 31, after which a few candidates had raised objections over the answers uploaded on the website of the department.
A complete of 2,185 grievances involving 361 questions had been obtained from as many as 791 candidates. On the basis of those representations, a latest revised merit list was released.
