PU scholars shine at hackathon in Kanpur. The crew from the University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET), Panjab University (PU), was declared the winner for obstacle assertion concerning cyber safety for the duration of the wise India Hackathon held just lately on the PSIT, Kanpur.
The third model of the hackathon was organised by using the All-India Council for Technical schooling (AICTE), Ministry of Human resource progress (MHRD), at forty eight nodal centres throughout the nation.
The UIET team consisted Rudransh Srivastava (chief), Sarthak Gupta, Sarthak Prajapati, Sanskriti Goel, Himani Chopra and Shaleen Ahuja. They were awarded a prize money of Rs 1 lakh.
Around two lakh groups participated in the competition, 5 per cent of which have been shortlisted for the finale.
