Strike by unemployed youth at Transport Chowk in Chandigarh
Chandigarh:Unemployed youth in Chandigarh from all over Punjab yesterday gathered at the place of work of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and decided to march closer to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, to remind the Congress govt in the state of delivering their promise of ‘Ghar Ghar Naukri’.
The youth had been motivated from every single place of Punjab by the Akali Dal. As they tried to march in the direction of the Vidhan Sabha, they have been stopped by way of the Chandigarh Police, who had laid barricades alongside the way. Mild force used to be used to stop protesters.
After that members of Youth Akali Dal as well as unemployed youth strike at transport chowk lights. After persuading for sometime, the police pronouncing that the number of ambulances moved this manner that the dharna was lifted and shifted to the pavement. It used to be after an hour that the strike was once lifted by using protesters.
