To Reduce Exam Stress, UT Launches Special Helpline For Class 10th To 12th Students
Chandigarh: School students of Classes 10th to 12th can call helpline numbers to get exam queries addressed from February 10. The UT education department has released numbers on which students can call and get their doubts cleared. The list of experts include teachers and a counselor Board exams of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will begin in February this year for vocational subjects and in March for other subjects.
In line with the usual practice, telephone numbers of 16 senior teachers, including lecturers, TGTs and counselors from various Government Model Senior Secondary Schools (GMSSS) and Government Model High Schools (GMHS) have been given. The helpline will be functional from February 10 to April 15.
Students can call on the helpline between 3 pm and 7.30pm. Teachers will help them handle stress levels before and during the exams. The CBSE will also launch pre-examination counseling for students and parents in a few days, officials said. Students and parents can reach out for a helping hand by tele-counseling, question-answer columns, online counseling, and CBSE website.
